roads are flowing so fast that the cars near you don't even know they're approaching. I looked up, and the world around me was a bit mysterious. The sun was shining bright, but it felt cold and distant, like the ground didn't want to meet us. I walked down the road for a while, trying not to get distracted by the long distance ahead. When I finally reached the end of the street, I turned back and started looking around.
I sat on a bench by the way the cars passed me. The sound of the engines seemed distant, like an echo in the wind. As I looked down, I noticed something unusual: flowers that had grown so quickly since my parents got married. They were so small—just a few centimeters tall—at which point they began to sway and fade away into the distance.
The world felt smaller than it did before. I could feel the earth beneath my feet moving, as if it was dancing with them. Sometimes there would be flowers on the road that looked like tiny birds singing in the distance, while others just sat there, dying or dying to die. It's hard to know why this is happening.
The flowers were beautiful, but nothing too special. Yet, I could sense something deeper about the world around me. When the last of the sun was setting and we all turned our heads toward the road, that was when it made sense for me. I had seen enough to know what was next. The world would never be the same again.
我想起去年那个雨天, roads were full of cars, their wheels rolling on the asphalt like a slow-moving train. When the rain fell, it made the world feel so small, so alive with its little details. The moment I stepped out onto that road, I felt an immediate connection to it—a connection through the way the cars passed by me every minute.
The passage of time seemed short when my eyes closed, but that was inevitable. The road had become a canvas for life’s events—storms, accidents, memories. Yet, despite its chaos, there was still something beautiful about the world around us. It wasn’t just the cars or the passengers; it was the moment itself—the quiet reflection of life in our midst.
I imagine standing there beside that road, a little bird sitting on a branch under my feet. The trees sway gently, their branches breaking and growing. A flower, perhaps one of those tiny ones, sways in the breeze with me. It doesn’t speak to me directly, but its sound carries through the air like a distant whisper. Sometimes it swells away into the sky, sometimes it just sits there, letting go of that connection.
The world around us was alive with life’s little details—tiny bugs, small insects, all crawling under our feet. Yet, in that moment when we sit here together on that road, a shared connection emerges, a soft hum that resonates through the city like a heartbeat from years ago.
